Shenmi - my 2nd 'emotional' fursona

Design infos:

â–º She is a child of nature. Mossy hair, little flowers or mushrooms everywhere - yepp, its welcome!

â–º She changes colour-scheme depending on her mood. The 3 colourschemes are: Happy&normal, sad, angry.

â–º She is asexuell and is NOT to be drawn in any sexualized way. She can be pretty, but never indecent!

â–º You can draw her in her feral form or in anthro form.

â–º Her hair is dripping with water. When she's angry, that turns into blood.

â–º Her antlers dont have to look the same each time. Like many deers, she can loose her antlers and they regrow.

â–º Make sure to draw her with long, very thin legs.

Personality & Meaning:

Shenmi represents my depression. I have dealt with chronic depression for a long time, being in therapy for almost 2 years now. And though I've grown through it, there are still parts of me fighting with everyday life. I am very emotional, I am very bad at handling anger and sadness, and I am not good around people for too long. Shenmi represents all that: She is very timid, shy, she doesnt want to bother anyone. She is often melancholic, listening to music, lying in bed or around in nature, observing the world from the outside.

Her appearance depends on her mood. Usually, she has the light orange-green colourscheme, whenever she is happy or just in a normal mood. When she is sad, her colours switch into a dark brown-black colourscheme. When she gets angry, she becomes almost black, and the tears turn into blood (representing my tendency to hurt myself when I get frustrated...).

Shenmi was design by my best friend Zelendur, who made her for me as an adoptable. She captured everything I love to draw: Beautiful, feminine characters with long hair and a graveful build. She designed her feral-version, knowing that I am bad drawing those xD This way I still have a reference, but have freedom designing her anthro and human self. When she presented Shenmi to me, I fell in love with her. And since I was looking for an emotional fursona, I figured why not use this beauty? With her light colourscheme she would make a beautiful character to reflect happy moments. And when her mood shifts, the colours would as well.
