Susanne Molly - my main fursona

► Her heart-shaped nose is her trademark so to say.

► Her upper whiskers are crooked. I always love it when you integrated it as well

► She needs her glasses to see, or else she is blind as a mole (haha).

► Her hairstyle can vary a lot, I am not choosy. But please give her hair accessory of any kind :)

► I draw her head pretty wide, but you may draw her in your own unique style of course!

Personality

Eventhough Molly (she prefers to be called like that) is of course a big part of myself, she still vastly differs from me in real life. One could say: Molly is the kind of person I would like to be, but cannot be for several reasons.

She is an upbeat persona, with smiles everywhere. She rarely has a bad day, loves to socialize and to get to know new people. She is very open-minded about sexuality and is comfortable with who she is (and how she looks like).

Something we have in common is her peaceful and kind attitude. Helping people in need, being a good listener, and treating everyone with whatever background with respect and kindness. There is no need for the many bad things in life, for fights and wars, and yet they happen daily. She tries to not be a part of that toxic behavior.

The story behind the mole

Molly was created in an effort to get me back on track. Those who know me well know that I have been dealing with a lot of tragedies in the past (and present), which often spiral me down into a deep depression. I am in therapy for a while now and I am trying to get better.

​

I always loved to draw. I did so a lot with my best friend, Zelendur, but drawing somehow meant pressure to me. I could not enjoy it anymore, I was getting anxious when I thought about trying something because I felt like it HAD to be perfect. I talked about this with my therapist, and she had a brilliant idea: To start from the beginning. Create a new account, on a new website, where nobody knows me. And that is exactly what I did. I started my page on furaffinity, even unknown to Zelendur, and began drawing.

Why a mole? Because at that day, Amazon Alexa said it was the animal of the day. Also, I loved the idea of a mole fursona, and thus Molly was created! By the way - Susanne Molly is not my real name, but especially created for this fursona. But honestly, I like being called Molly, haha!
